2005 Nissan Altima driver head light out, but flickers when turned on

Must be loose connection, since high beams are also pointing somewhat upwards after hitting pot hole

check that the plug conection at the light is not loose and check light alignment adjusters as they may have jarred loose when you hit the pot hole.
