my backup sensors have quit working the button inside my car stays off all the time you can not push it to turn back on

The only thing I can find is a faulty parking aid module. Have it scanned for codes.

Yes, it is possible. Did whoever scanned for codes scan for soft codes as well as hard codes? Most shops or facilities that scan for codes won't poll for soft codes unless you ask and give them a good reason. Such as your issue.
