cattle gridding and noisy gearbox

my gearbox does what apparently called cattle gridding and my gearbox is noisy
im getting a whirring noise when you push accelerator down
it is an auto gearbox can you help me please

Sounds as if it is slipping badly, this will have to be inspected first hand by a transmission specialist, get this done ASAP as further driving will proberbly do more damage.
