Loud noise when ac or heater is turned on.

Once I turn on the air conditioner or heater in minivan a loud noise comes on and it sounds like the fan. It happens every time its turned on.

you may have a bad fan/blower.

It's probably either dust or grit in the fan motor bearing or something caught between the fan cage and the housing. The fan motor and cage can be removed from the air box and cleaned. There are going to be something like between 4 and 6 screws.
