I have a 2005 Mazda MPV andd the check engine light came on. Took the van to autozone and got a code of P2187 which give 4 problems. Large vacuum leak, Fuel system malfunction, MAF sensor faulty and Ignition system malfaunctioning. It starts up great but when driving or standing it seems like the fan reves up and then will slow down that is the only problem with the car it drives well and does not stall the fan will even stay on for a few minutes sometimes after the car is turned off. From what i told you do you know which of the four could be the problem? Thank you.

Guessing don't solves problems. You need to perform diagnostics test to find out and lean running conditions usually are caused by not only four items. Charts shows list of possibilities.

Start with the basics, check for vacuum leaks, PCV etc.
