I have an oil leak from from somewhere around the oil pan. I dont think its fromthe oil pan gasket, as there isnt much oil near it. However, there is a hollow chamberon the underside of the pan that has some sort of rubber cover that is kind of loose in it. Im not sure what it is or its function, but thats where the oil seems the heaviest. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful

Wash down and re drive and check for a rear main oil seal leaking, this is the seal at the rear of the engine on the crank shaft behind the flywheel/ drive plate, it may look like a leak at the rear od the engine sump.
