It could be a few things. The first things that come to mind are a bad shift solenoid or a pressure switch issue. Has the check engine light come on?

My step dad checked it and said it was good, and there was no metallic chunks in it, or would you only see the chunks in the pan? But im going to check it again tomorrow, and byw thank you for your time, it means a lot, and I appriciate it.

If there was debris in the fluid, you would find it in the pan. The filter should be stopping it from going throughout the trans.

I have to be honest, many places want to flush transmissions these days. Even though that removes all of the fluid from the unit, it doesn't replace the filter and pan gasket. I also have to be honest and say that most times, servicing the unit doesn't fix the problem. You may, however, want to drop the pan to check if the filter is partially plugged.

By the way, glad to help. I just hope I am.
