2005 Malibu no over-drive or drive. Has reverse and manual first and second

Car was driving fine, but after stopping at a red light and giving it gas when the light turned green it would not go. It will go if I put it into first or second or reverse, but not if the shift lever is in ever-drive or drive.

check transmission fluid or have a transmission professional check it out. If the transmission fluid is dark brown or black it will more than like likely need a rebuild. also check harness at transmission it look like the way it is in picture. if any broken lines fix those.
