Hot air always comes thru vents on driver side when climate controll is set on 60. Doing research points to replace the climate controll valve. i feel that it may be a blend door that is not working correctly. How do i determine which one is the problem, before i tear the dash apart.

blend door actuator and it is a common issue.

where is the best place to get information to repair this problem, do i need to pull out the whole heater box under the dash? and where is this blend door located?

i believe it is accessible through the glove box. it is toward the center and up a little in clear view
