Discovery 3 power steering pipe busted - can the vehicle be driven without the power steering fluid?

It can, but the safety issue comes to mind. Do you have towing available?

Thanks. No, not close to anything really. Are you referring to safety in terms of the fact that the steering is becoming increasingly difficult - or is there danger to the engine in your opinion?

No danger, just safety due to the increased steering effort.
