Hello, I am having trouble with the charging system on my 05 Kia Spectra 5. The charging system is putting out around 14.4 volts and as a result the brake lights keep on burning out. I've replaced the bulbs several times but I'm thinking that the problem must be that the voltage is too high. I have not tried anything as far as changing out the battery or alternator yet. What would be the best 1st attempt to fix this problem?

Thanks

The voltage is exactly where is should be. You have another issue with the bulbs. It could be a bad socket and not bad bulbs at all.
