the car has a shifting problem it starts out just fine if you shift manually in the lower gears but if it starts out in drive it shifts like its not sure what to do and sometimes clunks into gear and gives a transmission fault

have a trans guy check fluid as it has to be on a hoist to do it and scan for codes.
