2005 Isuzu Ascender Tank Full Gas Gauge Otherwise Possible Causes Replaced

Tank is full...GAS GAUGE says otherwise. What are the possible causes? I have replaced the motors in the intrument cluster, so that is not the issue. Sensor? Fuel logged Float? What is most common cause?

A bad sending unit in fuel tank or a broken wire.
