You don't replace the bushings you replace th ewhole link item 2 in pic

Ok that is different those are stabilizer bar bushings, you should be able to bunbolt where they are, there aer maybe 4 bolts/nuts, drop the bar the bushing may have slits in them to go around bar if not you have to take the bar completely off and slide them in position then reinstalll them by reversing procedure. If no slit in them then put one in at the flat area soyou don't need to remove the bar.

Tried to loosen the bolts on the spot but no space to turn the bolts.

I have to try it again.

The bolts are in the picture I sent earlier. Looks like you may have to slightly lower the rear of the subframe to get access to the bolts if the body is too close. This requires supporting the vehicle on the body and using a jack to slightly lower the rear of the frame

Just replaced sway bar bushings and links at Hyundai dealer, they told me that they had to lower subframe to access bushing brackets bolts. Does this really works without damaging other things? I think they did not disconnect steering column from steering gearbox (from inside the car) nor they disconnect rear engine anti-roll mount from subframe.

However, no problems so far. It's an Accent 2009.

Thanks for adding to the thread. It might help someone in the future with the same vehicle and issue. The subframe has to be dropped to replace sway bar bushings just because of the design and tight space. Thanks again for using 2CarPros and we hope you will use our site again in the future when needed.
