I am trying to remove battery to get tested at auto parts store. Not user friendly. Have had to move/remove a lot more than just battery cables and it still won't budge. The air filter (intake?) hose and what looks like an anchor bolt at the bottom of the battery platform, which I cannot budge due to it being in a very tight position.

Driving the vehicle there would be an easier option.

You need to loosen the anchor bolt. It clamps down on the side of the battery to hold it in place. Apart from that, other components might not be necessary to be removed.
