2005 Hyundai Sonata Roommate Went Fill Tank 2 Times Both Gas Kept Kicking Off

My roommate went to fill her tank 2 times and both times the gas kept kicking off like it was full. but was not.. now its driving rough like it needs new plugs or fuel filter.. curious if this is one issue or two and maybe how to try to fix it?

have a pro check to see if the tank vent is blocked then scan for codes and check fuel pressure
