I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata with a 2.4 liter DOHC. The alternator was not good and the battery light was on, so we replaced the alternator. After replacing the alternator, we noticed that the battery light was still on. So we checked the fusible link between the alternator and battery and found that it was blown. Replaced it. Battery light went off. Ran the car for a while and the battery light came back on but the fusible link is still good. What else could this be?

Have the alternator tested. Replcement parts coudl be faulty. Recheck the fuses to see if any are blown.
