2005 Hyundai Getz Car Runs Certain Mileage Without Stopping Brakes Applied

When my car runs for a certain mileage without stopping, and brakes applied and gears downed, then while accelerating up and gears changed up, the car doesnt move. Only the accelerator is up as if it is pedaled in neutral gear and the car doesnt move.
When the car is allowed to cool down for about 15 minutes, then the car moves as usually.
what is the reason?
My Car is Hyundai Getz GVS 2005 model car.
The clutch appears to be free... the gear can be changed,,, but the car doesnt move as if it is in neutral gear. When the engine is allowed to cool when the car is stopped, then the car runs smoothly. What is the reason?

The clutch is failing. If you ride the clutch pedal while driving, this would occur.
