The power windows on the car will not rewind. The windows have been down for more than two days and I am concerned about the upcoming storm and the damage that will be done to the interior if it become too wet. What are some of the causes for the power windows too no longer work? And, what are the solutions?

Have all the windows been affected? Have you checked the main switch on the driver's door?

No. I have not checked the main switch on the driver's door, but will do so today.

Thanks for your reply and question. I was also wondering about a reset module that may also affect the power windows. Is there any information you can provide on this?

Warm Regards,

Mary

Mary:

I'm not familiar with a reset for the windows. Were you able to check the switch today?

I took the car to the auto dealership and they replaced two fuses that had gone out. I thank you for your quick response and appreciate the assistance.

Take care,

Mary

Glad you got it fixed. If it happens again, check the fuses first. If they are good, then you need to check for power to the main switch as I mentioned. You're always welcome to get back in touch with us here.

Take care,

Joe
