I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. I'm having problems with the lowbeam headlight bulbs burning out each 3-6 months. The original bulbs lasted about 4 years. Since then, each replacement bulb lasts only months. I've tried bulbs of varying price (and I assume quality) with the same results. I took it to the dealer and they said they couldn't find a problem. Any ideas what might be causing this, or what I can do to get the bulbs to last? Thanks.

If it is a bulb, don't touch the glass with your bare fingers. The skin leaves a residue, the residue creates a hot spot, overheats. Use a pair of clean gloves or something to handle bulb. Just a thought.
