Auto Zone got a code from my computer that said my idle air control valve was bad so I replaced it but my car still idles at 2000rpms and my check engine light is still on.
What else could it be if the code says idle air control valve? Could my old IAC still be good?

Autozones obd computer said the code was for the IAC. I replaced the IAC and now Autozone says the code is for the throttle position sensor. Where would I check for vacuum leak?
The idle gradually went up over a couple months. Not all at once.

Actually there are two codes now. One for the IAC and one for the throttle position sensor.

The problem was a 3 inch vacuum line coming out of the back of the valve cover running to the intake.
Thank you!
