Starter relay location?

2005 hummer h2 key turns but will not start the key release button on the back of the key switch stop working also the key release button which is supposed to be automatic quit working it is like a standard where you have to push it in now I had to remove buttom plastic from steering column to do this, now the key does not work it turns everything comes on battery is good connections are tight but, when the key is turned all the way everything goes off and does not start.
