reset radio

Changed the battery. Now the radio reads CODE when I try to turn it on. Is there a factory code that I can enter to reset the radio.

Yes, this is the anti-theft code. There is usually a plastic card with the code with the owners manual. Also look for hand written numbers. If no code, you will need to get the serial number off the unit (which usually means removing it) and have the Honda dealer get the code from their database.

You do not need to remove the radio to get the serial number. Simply hold "1" and "6" then press the power button. The 8 digit serial # will come up.
