suspension???

when i drive my 05 civic i hear a thumping/rattling noise coming from my wheels. Could it be the CV joint?

I would be checking the drive shaft assembly is tight in the hub, remove the split pin and re tighten the nut, the CV will click on full lock normally when worn.
