I have a Civic 2005 and my brother has a 2000 Civic. We both have the same problem with the Radio going dead. It works fine until the Temp. here in TX gets to 100 degrees then it quits. sometimes hitting a bump; sometimes turning. Got any ideas? replace radio and all the speakers.

This is an internal radio overheat protection device, not a lot that i am aware that can be done with it, we get the same problem here in Australia during Summer on a number of customers cars especially with European sound systems, talk to your local radio shop, they may have some inside info on helping this problem.
