Upon start off there is a short rumble about like crossing a rumble strip befofe a stop sign, only not that pronounced. Maybe like a notched belt slipping over several cogs on the pulley. Very short duration than the car goes great. Has approx 150000 mi on it. Owned since new. Can you give any insite?

Where is the noise coming from?
Does it continue with engine running?
How is the drive belt condition?

That short rumble noise is from the CVT. The starter clutch is worn.
