Engine oil dipstick?

i have two dipsticks in my motor one is yellow and one is orange what is the orange one for the yellow one is for my oil.

I believe it is for the transmission. Check to see if that is where it is going.

The orange stick is for the engine oil. The yellow stick is for the automatic transmission fluid. (which must checked with the engine running and at normal operating temperature) This can be backwards though because they changed it about this time.
