my 2005 astra wagon will not go above 10kph i have been told it my be Limp mode , ECU or a sensor problem. i have never heard of limp mde

Limp mode is a safety setting that will allow you to drive the car with a problem in the engine management system, if there is a major failure then the car will just not work, but for some systems if there is a partial failure this will over ride and allow you to get to a mechanic, you will have to get the system scanned to see what is at fault first.
