2005 Gmc Sierra Speedometer Reads 70 Mph While Car Sitting Still Other Lights

The speedometer reads 70 mph while the car is sitting still. Other lights in that part of dash are also not right. Is it safe to drive to the Gmc dealer for repair?

If there's no drivability problem go for it-Sounds like electrical to me-also have the vehicle speed sensor circuit checked out-
