ford taurus is shifting hard should i get a trans flush or worse

shifting hard and sometimes when i am driving it don't want to speed up and shift and when it does it jerks when shifting

a fluid change is always a good thing if it's brownish in color. you may have a sticky valve though. have a trans pro give you an opinion on it.
