2005 Ford Freestar Did Van Sudden Cut Off Started Sputter Turned Corner Wants

Why did my van all of a sudden cut off. It started to sputter and when I turned the corner, it cut off. It wants to start up, but cuts right back off. I don't think it is the battery. I did fill up with gas from a station I have never been too yesterday.
