water in well were plugs are ?

Hi,
Just asking if you can help, I have just had car serviced while changing plugs and leads,found water in well between plugs and leads cleaned up and was fine ,After a couple of weeks More water has appeared which has started the car to miss fire and engine managment light to flash on and off ? was told mite be the window washer water leaking on top (there was no cover on engine but have put one on now !) the colour is a rusty red

Could be, but it will be very obivous if it is coming from there pressure test the cooling system this will tell you something

Thanks for reply do you think it needs to go on a diagnostic test to find out more ? there is no obvious signs of a leak , just when plugs pulled out they have Droplets of water on them ?
