2005 Ford Fiesta Knocking when clutch is pressed

Hi

When I press my clutch there seems to be a knocking noise. Once I start to release the clutch the noise disappears. I was going to have the whole clutch replaced but after looking online I am now informed that this could be the release bearing? Any help would be appreciated.

when the clutch is replaced that is usually replaced along with it. probably what it is
