noisy engine

when i drive the ford the car sounds like its gonna break down, rough and noisy. it only happens each time i press on the accelerator. no sound when i stop while engine running. ive checked oil, water, air and oil filters. i still dont understand why. i thought it was change of petrol to ultimate unleaded. still dont know why. i can still drive to places just dont wanna risk it

Get a scan done , these are drive by wire (no throttle cable) there are many problems with this system, also known problems are inlet manifold vacuum leaks and faulty TPI sensors, get the scan done first.

Also they are prone to faulty coil packs, they use coil over plug technology, and the coils are individual for each cylinder, i have often had to replace all six coils as they are a constant problem as well.
