under acceleration the truck bogs, but if u let off it will smarten up and go good again

on the hwy if you punch it, the truck bogs right out, the check engine light flashes, but if you let off on the throttle, it clears up and runs ok. i have had it scanned lots of times, and the only thing that comes up is running lean. any suggestions
