my ford f150 (2005) when I drive it, it feels like your in nuetral and I cant go over 35 mph. it just makes this reveing noise when i hit the gas and then just goes slow

Not being there, I can't tell if the trans is slipping or not shifting. What I recommend it to make sure the trans fluid is clean and full. Have the computer scanned to see if there are any trouble codes for the transmission. It could be a bad shift solenoid or trans control module.
