2005 Ford Escape fuel pump

My fuel pump wont turn on when the key is on,, I was driving one day when suddenly the truck died, their was power but the fuel pump did not come on, I replaced the pump and the fuel module and still nothing, I checked the pump by hot wiring it to run. it ran. I don't know what else to do, can anyone help|?

first see if your inertia switch is engaged preventing power. then check fus 6 and fp relay in smart junction box. finally get it scanned to see if fuel pump module is screwing up
