2005 ford escape factory alarm electrical issue

This was a repo. Repo man had a key cut and tried starting car. Cut the factory alarm module. Now car won't start. We started it directly from starter and it runs like crap. Misfiring. What steps and options do I have?

You would need to get a new key with transponders and program it to work.
