My computer had to be replaced in my 2005 ford escape and my mechanic found a recommendation from Ford that a defect of the year of my vehicle requires the replacement of all 6 coil packs and spark plugs as the frequency interfered with the computer and does not fire the coils. I was just wondering If this was in fact true. My mechanic has never steered me wrong but i would just like a professional opinion on the matter. Thank you for your time.
