I just purchase this car from used car dealer. When I test drove vehicle, air would only come out of dash vents and not floor vents or defrost. Dealer said he repaired it. When I picked up car, it seemed like the problem was fixed, however after having it for 10 days, I've noted (it has the automatic climate control), that when the heater kicks in after the car warms up, that it blows out of both the defroster and floor. If I push the "floor" button at this time, it does not shift to the floor, but stays on defrost. After about another 5 miles, it will seem to shift off the defrost vents to the floor and even further down the road it seems to shift back to the defrost vents. The dealer said he would guarantee the part, so I need to find out if there is a problem within the next two weeks.
Thanks
Rod

Check for vacuum leaks under the dash.
