airbag light

I have a 2005 Ford 500 and the air bag indicator some times flashes on and off or comes on and stays on. Ford service states that the system does not show a code and they do not know what to do about this problem.

Hello,

I have seen this problem before the clock spring under the steering wheel goes bad causing the airbag light to come on. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job with diagrams below to show you how to do the job on your car.

I had this problem as well the dealer had no idea what to do so I got the new clocksparing and removed the steering wheel to replace it and BAM all fixed you guys know more than Ford. I love this site.
