My wife is having car problems. She had just called me and said that her car was running rough and she was complaining about her engine light being on, she also noticed that her car did have a little bit of smoke come out of the vents, along with the smell of gas.

That gas smell that is a cylinder not contributing , This can be from a misfire to a cylinder head, Its better for you to tow it
