I own a 2005 dodge stratus 2.7. I have around a month with water inside the block. I can tell by the color of the oil being creamy and tan. I was told that the engine gasket might be blown. I've heard that when this happens, Grey smoke is released via the exhaust, something my car does not throw. The car runs and does not shake. After the temperature reaches its normal heat, the car stalls when idle. I have to wait until car is cooled down. Also, makes small clicking noise in motor.

If the head gasket is bad, it can leak coolant into the combustion chamber (which would cause the white smoke) or it can leak directly into the oil and not the combustion chamber, and only cause the oil to be affected.
