pulling the oil

I read the reply on dropping the oil pan and Something else is holding it. The pan still has 6 inches before it touches anything.

The oil pump pickup tube and screen. you may have to move the pan back the forward to clear the pan baffel or You may have to turn the crank shaft a little to clear the main bearing
