2005 DODGE RAM 1500 2 WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK, 5.9L ENGINE WITH 80,000 MILES. COMPLAINT IS THAT THE TRANSMISSION JUST QUIT MOVING. TECH HAS COMPLETED AN AIR CHECK ON THE TRANSMISSION AND IT PASSED. TECH HAS NOW DISASSEMBLED THE UNIT AND. TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN AIR CHECKED. TECH HAS ALSO DISASSEMBLED UNIT AND FOUND NO INTERNAL DAMAGE. CLUTCHES ARE GOOD AND SPRAGS ARE GOOD. ANY IDEAS?

Was the torque converter checked?
Was any pressure test done prior to disassembling the trans?

When performing transmission repairs, you need to understand what is wrong and needs to be looked at before disassembly.
