What would be wrong with my car and how do I fix it

Car overheats when going 40 mph changed thermostat flushed radiator. Also the high beams and flashers/blinkers fuse both keep blowing at the same time

i suspect a clogged radiator and a possible blown head gasket. get a shop to do a leak down test to confirm.
