loss pressure in break pad

I have 2005 dodge neon, today I notice that I have lost pressure in my break pad. It has been making noise like clicking one when I turn the wheel. I notice that it didnt have break fluid . I was wondering could that have been the problem?

Pull wheels check brakes possible pad worn to excess and piston came out lossing fluid
