I have 2005 dodge neon sxt and when my engine light comes on the car will pull when it try to shift into 2nd gear, could you please tell me what kind of problem am I facing.

Have the trouble codes checked, see if the code points in the right direction? Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free.

If you stay on the original post, it is less confusing. If the problem is in the wiring circuit somewhere, replacing parts won't fix it. You have to do some testing.
