My 2005 Dodge Neon needs new lower arm control bushings. I took a look underneath to see how to replace them. Am I going to have to detach the sway bar and let everything drop to lift up the arm to replace the bushing? I could really use some instructions because I'm guessing that getting everything realigned properly might be a pain.

Those bushings are pressed in so if you have never done this before, I wouldn't attempt it. You wouldn't have the equipment needed.

Humor me and tell me what I'll need. I'm currently working in a garage with a man that's been doing repairs for a long time. He might have what's needed.

The numbers for the special tools and receiving cup are specific to my car correct? I'm gonna rent a press from autozone.

You won't find that stuff at Autozone. Those are part numbers for manufacturer's tool suppliers. There are aftermarket kits available but I doubt you'll see them at Autozone.
