I broke the shift lever in a panic. It broke where it pivots in the column [hole in lever] I can shift by moving the linkage under the hood but it takes someone to hold the brake pedal and at 25 below not much fun. Can I buy the lever separately and how do I change it?

The lever assemble is available separately. You will have to removed the steering column shrouding and remove the shift lever assemble.

Yes, it can be done. As mentioned, the steering column cover needs removed. There is a pin that holds the lever in place. IF I understand correctly, that is where it broke.
